Til Health Do Us Part—My body and me

The title, ‘Til Health Do Us Part,’ is a tell-all for where I want our minds to go. We’re going to close our eyes and travel to a place where only we can see ourselves. Is it a sunny day as we come to a fork in the road? What happens next is totally up to our individual choices! Will we travel right or left? It’s a decision only one person can make.

My husband and I are enjoying our semi-retired years. Although age has become less of a factor in determining when people stop contributing to the workforce and their finances.

Consider it a gift if we are still able to get out of bed, stand on our own, and scoot off to the bathroom (maybe not as spry as twenty-five years ago, but good enough to keep the kids from moving back in).

Here are three points to consider while we’re preventing our health from departing.

The following are great recommendations for teens and people of all ages to utilize. The sooner, the better!

  1. We can work hard during the day but rest at night. The consensus is 7-8 hours for sixty-five and older. Taking a 30–60-minute nap during the day is a stellar idea as well.
  2. Limit a host of preservative-ridden prepared grocery store food and fast-food restaurants (aka junk food). We must continue to cook for ourselves, including organic food, as often as possible.
  3. Research prescription drugs: I am not a fan of Big Pharma’s chemical-laden drugs and limit their use by researching supplements that may provide a positive outcome.

I encourage you to research the benefits of Omega 3 Fatty Acids if you haven’t already done so.

Until next time, stay happy, practice safe habits, and continue to speak positive messages inside yourself.

If you haven’t visited our bookstore, I’d appreciate it if you would for my sci-fi fantasy, paranormal, and self-help books, also handmade self-care products are available on www.maxfullcircle.com.

Uncomplicated Acts Yields Wonderful Blooms
